About this agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Jouzu™ Bakery W.L.L. (ﻣﺨﺒﺰ ﺟﻮﺯﻭ), a company registered in the State of Qatar (CR No. 138290), with its registered address at Al Sadd Street (St. #343), Building #58, Zone #38, Doha, Qatar (“JOUZU”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By browsing jouzu.qa, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts, and that you accept these Terms in full.

Orders & acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. Acceptance happens only when we send you an order-confirmation email or in-app notice. Until then, we may decline an order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock, if our delivery zones are full, or if there is a pricing error we cannot honour.

• All prices on the site are in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Pre-orders require a 50% deposit at checkout, with the balance taken on dispatch.
• Same-day delivery cut-off is 4:00pm. Orders placed after 4pm will be scheduled for the next available slot.

Pricing & payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner. Card details are never stored on our servers.

If a published price is clearly incorrect — for example, a 49 QAR cake listed for 4 QAR — we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. We will contact you before doing so.

Delivery & pickup

JOUZU delivers across the Doha metropolitan area, including West Bay, The Pearl, Lusail, Al Sadd, Al Waab and Old Airport. Outside these zones, please choose store pickup or car pickup at our Al Sadd location.

Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, and Qatari public-holiday schedules may extend them. If your order is more than 60 minutes late, contact us and we will refund the delivery fee in full.

Freshness & care

Our cakes are baked the morning they are sold. They stay fresh for 12 hours at room temperature and 4–5 days refrigerated. Cheesecakes can be frozen for up to 60 days; thaw in the fridge for four hours before serving.

Once a cake has been left at room temperature for more than 4 hours, we cannot guarantee its quality and cannot accept it for return.

Cancellations

You may cancel a same-day order any time before it leaves the kitchen — typically within 30 minutes of placing it. Pre-orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, the 50% deposit is non-refundable, since baking has begun.

Loyalty & rewards

JOUZU Rewards is a free loyalty programme. Points expire 12 months after they are earned. Tiers are reviewed every rolling 365 days based on lifetime spend. We may modify tier thresholds, multipliers and benefits with 30 days’ notice via email.

Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed against delivery fees, deposits, or gift cards.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, app or our service — including reselling our products without written permission, scraping our catalogue, abusing promotional codes, or harassing our staff. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach this clause.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Qatari law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of JOUZU is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be referred to the competent courts of Doha.
